First started raving in and around Coventry in the autumn of 1989. Awesome times. Remember a big illegal rave in Tile Hill due to a couple of other gigs being stopped by the police this one was massive. Stayed on the dance floor with a coat over my had just to keep it dark so I could make it last forever!!

Great site Sam, it brings back lots of memories. I was raving from 1990 to mid 1993. Looking back I think we knew at the time something special was going on.

Great site, it's clearly going to get more old skool ravers in one place... as for me, Eclipse, Coventry, 1989 my first Rave experience... and the start of a journey that saw the dance scene evolve over the next 2 decades... from muddy fields, aircraft hangars, warehouses and then superclubs... Loved Passion at the Emporium in the mid to early 00's as well. Travelled many roads, made lots of friends and have some great memories... TUNE!

Part of the Rave scene from 1990-95. Top times. Look back on the good and bad times with a smile. Great site. Keep the flag flying. What has come since is a poor imitation of the best of times in terms of dance culture.

Who remembers those beautiful convoys of cars to the warehouses, piling in and setting up the decks, waiting for the tunes to start up, dancing on the top of generator trucks, with the coppers gathering outside. Anyone here form the Blackburn scene 1988, 1989, Live the Dream, Harcore Uproar and the rest.?. ah happy memories.
